Getting a "Great Deal"?

2006 Mercedes C230 Sport

When it comes to buying a car, everyone wants to get a great deal.  The best way to ensure you get a great deal is to first define what a "great deal" would be.  For some people it may be just getting the car they have always wanted.  For others it may be getting a low payment or interest rate.  For others it may be the amount they get for the trade.  There are about eighteen different ways to buy a car and its the sales persons job to figure out which one works best for you and him.  If you want to make sure you save money on your next car purchse, make sure you define what you want, what you need, and what you are willing to exchange for what you are willing to settle for.  Most people have no idea where to start and that is how they end up spending more than they had planned and more than they expected.   Take the time to educate yourself, and define what you are trying to accoplish......or just email me and I will help you define your wants and needs whether you buy a car from me or not.

Buying a used car?

Certified Used Cars 78666
Certified Used Cars A customer came in looking for a used car yesterday. She says "I want something reliable, that is good on gas". After several questions I eliminated most of our used car inventory seeing as how she wanted a 175 dollar a month payment. Used cars are tricky because what most people don't understand is that the banks control everything about the used car market. From the selling price to the trade amount of a used car. Banks have predetermined how much a used car is worth now and how much that same used car will be worth in five years. They will even speculate geographic areas and zip codes for instance, 78666 may have a completely different used car demographic than Austin. Something to consider is what is the perception of a used car made by different manufacturers.  A used Toyota will have a higher resale value based on its track record.  Therefore the bank will loan more and longer for a used Toyota with 100,000 miles, vs. a used Chevy of the same year and miles because the track record of the Toyota is that it will drive longer with fewer problems.
