Why we should all use Google Places

I heard a story about a dealership who was using Google places to steer traffic to their store. LITERALLY!!!
A Ford store in Houston is using the name of other stores on Google places to divert traffic from their competitors. A bit sneaky to say the least but that's not the best part. The best part is that the other store listed didn't seem to care, according to the Internet director.
Shame on him. He said he had told them to fix it but they didn't see it as a priority. I say get your ass in their and fix it yourself. You don't need permission to do it, just do it already. It's your customer who is looking for you that ends up at the other store and buys a car from the guy who greets them at the door because you told them to change it and they didn't.
Idiot!
It is very easy to fix and I promise you its costing you a minimum of 3 deals a month. If you do the math, at $2000 a round, that's $6000 a month and $72,000 a year.
At any point anywhere on the planet, you could Google "Used Car Ricky" and find my website, location, and, if you want to call, you could call from your cell phone by clicking my number in Google maps on your phone and I would answer.
There is no excuse for having inaccurate information on the web. Especially your Google Places information. Get it done!!! Thank you and goodnight.
